You KNOW that's a given dude. Only bad thing is that with this being a regularly scheduled Chiller, it's alot harder for me to find the time to slow down and hang. But I'm gonna give it my best shot!!!

are there alot of toll roads in penn. and nj?

It all depends on what roads you're going to have to travel. The Pennsylvania Turnpike has tolls, but Route 80 and Route 78 do not. In New Jersey, the Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway have tolls, but Route 287 does not. It all depends on the route that you choose to take to get to the convention. I come from PA and take Route 78 (free) to the Garden State Parkway (toll), and I think I end up paying about 1.40 total in tolls.

Well, I just talked to my friend Marie and she decided to make it to Chiller once again, but only for the Saturday/Sunday (she'll be leaving early on the Sunday).

And there might just be a 3rd french chick making it too.

When I drive to and from Louisville,KY and NJ I think I wind up paying like 5.00 in tolls max.

ok well maybe its just new york cause my dad told me what other truckers told him that in new york one toll can cost you $14 and he said thats why he doesn't want to go up there to pick up loads if he can avoid it

Well NY tolls ARE brutal. For a car entering NY it costs $6.00 and that's just in to the city. If you have a trailer it's gonna cost more and then if you have to use any of the bridges to get to the 5 boro's your gonna pay even more.

NJ isn't without tolls either. But if you can avoid the Parkway or the Turnpike for a good portion of the trip, their minimal.

Probably the most expensive tolls in New York are on the New York State Thruway. You can rack up some bucks on that road - that might be what he's talking about. The southern New York bridge tolls are pretty steep, but if you travel the Thruway, you can end up paying $15. When I was in college, the tolls alone for a round trip were over $20, traveling from Poughkeepsie to Rochester (if you're unfamiliar with NY, it's abou a six hour trip one way). So tolls there can eat ya alive.

i have relatives in rochester but haven't been since the late 80's

im going ofcourse ill be there on the 28th thru the 2nd
