Vampires (the 70's Vol. 1)

Nosferatu- I love this movie, it is a great tribute and update of the original. Martin is a close second.

which is your favorite vampire film of the 70's?

Since Daughters of Darkness (1971) isn't on this list and since I've never seen the 1979 Nosferatu remake, that left, for me, a close call between House of Dark Shadows and The Vampire Lovers. The Vampire Lovers won out only because Pitt's Mircalla is a lot sexier than Barnabas.

Have to go with Bram Stoker's

I've always been a huge fan of DS. Yes I actually watched it when it originally ran. :old:

I went with "House of Dark Shadows". I always liked Barnabas as the "reluctant vampire", although this film was a bit more intense than the series! "Martin" would be my second choice.

My favourite from the 70's is The Nightstalker (1971). Out of the above list I like Count Yorga, Vampire(1970),and Grave Of The Vampire(1972) is also personel favourite...
