Which is Better? (1999)
Ok creeps, here is the end of the 90's, so which is the better creep flick hey scabs!?
Blair Witch Project, followed by Stir of Echoes. Existenz is my favorite from the list, but I consider it more of a Sci-Fi thriller.
Went with Sleepy Hollow, this is perhaps Burton's finest film period, with a great cast, effects and story that suits Burton just like a glove. One of my all-time favorites from the 90's!
"Heads will roll!"

I'm going with The Blair Witch Project. Sleepy Hollow, The Ninth Gate, Stir of Echoes and Existenz get honorable mentions.
Sleepy Hollow. As much as I love Stir of Echoes, Existenz, and The Sixth Sense, I'm too much of a Burton fanboy not to vote for Sleepy Hollow...
bwp wins for me because it scared me. anything that does that, is a winner.
I had to go with Sleepy Hollow. Both this film and the Disney animated short are great. Stir of Echoes, The Sixth Sense, and Blair Witch Project, not necessarily in that order, all get honorable mentions. 1999 was a much better year than most of the rest of the 1990's.
Sleepy Hollow was crap. Johnny Depp was good and it looked great. Nothing else in that movie was worth anything.
The Sixth Sense was the ACTUAL best movie that year, but I voted for Deep Blue Sea because I love my B-movies so much.

Yeah, LL Cool J was GREAT in that movie...
Deep Blue Sea was crap. To each his (or her) own though.

It was crap. I can fully agree. But I do like bad movies sometimes. But it wasn't supposed to be great like Sleepy Hollow was.
deep blue sea was a b movie that didn't play by the rules. i wasn't that taken by the film till the samuel l jackson speech, but after that it had me gripped because i knew the gloves were off.
That was a pretty good year for horror considering the 90's.....
my hand is like a shark fin
Stir of Echoes kicks all those other films asses.
Seriously, what are you all thinking?

That's one of the many reasons why I loved it.
The Sixth Sense by about 150mil. ahead
BWP, had so many people calling at work before it rolled out with the marketing for the website, how many people got motion sickness watching the film and still believing it was all real... Best marketing for a low budget film ever.
[color=teal:00a4950fc6]The Sixth Sense....but I would also like to tip my hat to Sleepy Hollow, Stir of Echoes, and Blair Witch Project..... [/color:00a4950fc6]
